Talent Acquisition Specialist

The goal at XR Games is to be the best developer of VR titles in the world.

 

We are a multi award-winning game development studio that specialises in immersive VR games. The studio has a history of full-scale development from concept through to submission, working with prestigious partners such as Sony Pictures VR, Meta, and Rovio Entertainment.

 

Since 2020 our team has grown from 20 full-time members to almost 100 by the close of 2022, due to the success and critical acclaim of our previous projects such as Zombieland: Headshot Fever and The Angry Birds Movie 2 VR: Under Pressure.

 

Throughout 2023 & 2024 our team will be working on multiple major projects with recognisable IPs and licences as we continue to grow and invest in our future.

 

We have an exciting opportunity to join the people team here at XR Games. Working directly with our Talent Acquisition Manager you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, interviewing and hiring candidates for a variety of positions as we continue to scale up the team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Actively source passive candidates across various platforms

  • Build market maps for potential hires within UK and abroad.

  • Actively participate in discussions about potential hires and offering guidance to hiring managers

  • Conduct screening interviews

  • Schedule interviews and tests with hiring managers through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Administrate any job offers and update HR Software /ATS

  • Attend industry events

The right person for this role will be experienced in proactive sourcing methods for hard-to-fill roles. You should be someone who has a track record of hiring passive candidates rather than relying on active candidates from job boards etc.

Experience recruiting in the games or tech industry is a bonus but not a necessity. 

 

This role is hybrid and flexible, working Monday to Friday – ideally based a minimum of 2-3 days in the studio with the rest being flexible in terms of location.
